We are excited to be collaborating with the NAACP Oakland to host an all-ages FREE community gathering in support of the arts, Black history, and the forthcoming Betty Reid Soskin documentary Sign My Name to Freedom on Saturday, July 26th at the majestic Oakland Temple Hill Auditorium — and YOU’RE INVITED!

The event will kick off with a VIP Reception from 12-1pm where our most distinguished guests will gather for refreshments, enjoy an eslusive behind-the-scenes experience, and mingle with local filmmaker Bryan Gibel and members of the film team.

The main event will take place from 1-4pm. We'll feature new clips from the film-in-progress honoring Betty Reid Soskin's legacy, performances of Betty's music, and a roundtable discussion with the film team and a representative from the NAACP.
